Description

The software ONCEPT independent Asset Managers has been specially designed to meet the needs of independent asset managers, including to enable managers to come together on a platform or a mini-platform.

Its modularity and flexibility allow it to best adapt to each configuration and to meet the specific needs associated with this activity.

Particular care was given to data privacy and security , as well as tools to satisfy the requirements of compliance.

It is mainly composed of the following modules:

  • Front office for a generation of Market orders Input of Market orders allows to take them into account as provisional transactions; they can be transmitted to the depositaries using different ways:
    • Interface
    • Telephone
    • Fax
    • System input made available by the depository
  • XRM "eXtended Relationship Management" to manage the data relating to Parties involved in this activity (clients, mandates, depositaries, contacts etc.)
  • Securities accounting /other assets includes all the information relating to securities and other assets of clients
  • Time management and monitoring of relations (visit reports, tasks management)
  • Engine for Portfolio consolidation and calculation of performance (individual and consolidated)
  • Review adequacy of the client investment policy. It allows you to set standards portfolios investment consistent with the investment policy chosen by the client and / or defined as part of a management mandate
  • Control of commissions / retrocession agreed with the depositaries
  • Fully Custom Reporting
  • Financial Accounting with the possibility of consolidation
  • Etc.

The addition of the module CONCEPT processus, our OPEN banking interface, allows to energize the entire application by automating the import of operations and/or periodic valuations for an automatic transfer in securities accounting and/or financial accounting

CONCEPT independent Asset Managers has been developed to offer our customers optimal data protection

To do this, the following functions are therefore available:

  • All rights may be defined by user and / or group of users with hierarchical function
  • Protection of access safeguarded by module and program
  • Ability to define rights such as "read, write, edit, create, print, export"
  • Protection to access certain functions of the program
  • Ability to protect some actions by password
  • Ability to manage confidential identities (through aliases) for some parties
  • Ability to filter information
  • Ability to prohibit any global export or global printing for confidential information
Front Office - Market orders

This module allows you to input market orders. They can be transmitted through the depositaries using different ways:

  • Interface
  • Telephone
  • Fax
  • System input made available by the depository
  • Etc.

Market orders can be individual or grouped and include at least the following information:

  • Security Nb
  • Client
  • Depositary
  • Quantity
  • Price
  • Duration of validity of the order
  • Conditions (Good to cancel, limited orders etc..)
  • Specific transaction code
  • Etc.

This entry automatically generates an outstanding transaction, incorporating a pre-calculation of commissions and bank charges, in the securities accounting. These provisional transactions can be taken in account immediately in all the reports and analysis included in the application.

Executed market orders can be controlled manually or automatically through our OPEN INTERFACE CONCEPT Processus.

XRM "eXtended Relationship Management"

This module allows you to manage, inquire and retain all data on the various parties involved in this activity:

  • Clients
  • Depositaries
  • Beneficial owners and other stakeholders
  • Various parties (Self-regulatory associations, auditors, etc.).
  • Prospects
  • Etc.

Among the many information maintained in this module, we can mention:

  • Identities, addresses, contacts
  • Information on mandates signed with:
    • Clients
    • Depositaries
  • Checking at anytime of your data with the most common "black lists" of the market
  • Management of all related documents. This management can also be integrated with an external system of electronic document management (DMS)
  • Management of tasks and deadlines
  • Monitoring of relations (visit reports, events management)
  • Definition of the investment profile of the client
  • Definition of terms agreed with the depositaries and any retrocession

It is also possible to define additional fields and combine them into custom pages

Securities accounting / Other assets

This module includes all the information assets of clients.
Therefore, it allows the users to :

  • Keep the details of all transactions on securities, foreign exchange (Forex) and money market investments (time deposits, fiduciary deposits, loans), etc.
  • Keep an inventory of the positions by depositary
  • Calculate the cost price for each position in both the currency of the title and the currency of reference of the clients
  • Evaluate the position from various different prices from different sources
  • Bring out automatically at the time of each transaction the result (gain or loss of the transaction and the exchange result)
  • If necessary, generate and record automatically entries in the financial accounting module
  • Estimate periodically portfolios of clients
  • To consolidate the various portfolios of one or more clients
  • At any time to monitor the positions of clients in terms of investment profile chosen by them or defined as part of a management mandate
  • To exercise a control over the commissions and retrocession applied by depositary

It offers a large number of analysis (per client, portfolios, miscellaneous risks) and a detailed calculation of performance.

A reporting tool allows you to define custom models (evaluations, performance etc. ...), Providing real added value to this activity.

Time and task Management / monitoring of relations

This module allows the user to manage specific or recurring tasks as well as deadlines to which they may be linked.

  • The first part is related to task management.

    This module is integrated into the whole solution and is mainly updated by the application program. Many automatic links exist. These include:

    • Expiry date of legal documents
    • Expiry date of mandates
    • Appointments and visits to customers
    • Etc.

The user can also define his own specific or recurring tasks. For each task he may mention subordinates, projected duration of work (planning), date of recall etc.

  • The second part is a powerful reporting tool.

    It makes it possible to consult tasks and related deadlines according to many criteria:

    • by users, groups or for any user, with protection of access
    • by entities, mandates and/or deadlines
    • by using specific time intervals (day, week, fortnight, month, quarter, half-year or year)
    • by using customized time intervals
    • Etc.
